The book launch went well, the people that came along seemed to enjoy themselves. There was a good atmosphere and feel to the place, and I'd like to thank all those who came along. Reading extracts from the book was a bit nervy, but a good time was had by all.
The gig I played with Gary Bushell's Gonads last Friday in Mansfield was a good time, (no money though, so nothing has changed there) long time since I've played the punk drumming though.
Gary turned up at my launch, as did John King, my publisher Martin, along with other good people and my old friends. Thanks for your support, best Pete

Got the book on order Pete. If you're interested, Casino Steel & Honest John Plain's new band (The Last Rock'n'Roll Band) are playing Camden Barfly on March 29. They've just released an album but I think it's only out in France & Norway.
Thanks George, that's very good of you - I hope that you like the book, best, pete
Managed to find the book in Waterstones in Exeter. Bought it "Off The Shelf". Great read, and a book that was long overdue. I saw you lot twice at a club in Lincoln called "AJ's". I helped you carry your drumkit up the three flights of stairs, and now I tell everyone that I roadied for The Lurkers!! We had an arm wrestle (Hey! I was 14) and you gave me a Lurkers say Bollurks to John Travolta poster, then offered me a lift to Grimsby for the next nights show. (Hey! I was 14). That was your 1st gig in Lincoln. I remember it like it was yesterday. Now my 14 year old son loves The Lurkers too.
Cari Saluti Pete.
Steve.
Thanks for buying the book Steve, and I'm pleased that you like it. Yeah, that's about my limit, arm wrestling 14 year old boys - crazy days and wild chicks maan.
Pete, we admire your frank confession of having 'played with Gary Bushell's Gonads'. Mrs Shaw and I have been out of circulation due to the inclement weather. I don't think the budget will affect our drinking habits too much as 14p on a bottle of Fortnum and Mason Bolly is not likely to break the bank Darling. Do you think it was a crass attempt to keep the proletariat from drinking mind-altering substances in case they began to see nuLabour's creation and rioted in Grosvenor Square?
